A multi-faceted crusade to educate, promote and encourage sustainable design among consumers and business owners thereby developing more energy-efficient homes and buildings.
"India continues to be saturated by messages of 'going green, there is a general lack of understanding that buildings are one of the primary sources of the greenhouse gases contributing to global warming and climate change.
Green design begins with appropriate response to climate. We help our clients to evaluate energy use and occupant comfort at the drawing board.
Some of our projects designed based on green concepts are
International Residential School @ Sriperambathur,
V.G.N School @ Avadi and
Mega Township project @ Ambatthur

The project circles around sustainable concepts to provide a comfortable learning environment for students. The green plazas, green walkways, green roofs, etc assists the reduction of direct incident energy from sun. Horizontal blinds help to reduce direct sunlight and promote ventilation. The usage of double walling in east west direction helps in increasing the time lag for heat to pass by into primary spaces. These are some features that helps to create an exquisite green learning environment.

The school is designed according to the sun path wherein all primary spaces are facing north south direction whilst the auxiliary spaces encloses the east west direction, increases the time lag for heat to pass by to the primary spaces. The design of shading devices prevents direct sunlight into classrooms creating optimal conditions for learning.

The project is focused on the analogy of providing a subtle green environment for living. The design is synthesized upon peoples need for a cleaner and a greener environment using sustainable concepts. In today’s scenario energy efficient architecture is considered a smart deal for huge township projects. The green concept starts with the inception of the project and not only lies in the services but also in the materials used, the planning, etc. The idea of green is embodied in the design as a feature not as an exterior treatment. |
